Amost anywhere in the world is perfect for a golf holiday, but some places are more perfect than others. This site is about some of the most perfect golfing places in the world. It is a collection of information I have been collection about famous and not-so-famous golf courses, towns and villages, special people, local history. 		Scotland Golf Scotland Section Golf is a way of life in Scotland. The game has developed over the last 400 years or so along the coastlines and in the little (and big) towns. The rules of golf as we know them were first formulated in St. Andrews, and from there the game moved out acorss the country. In turn, the gospel of golf was spread throughout the world by course designers, club makers and club professionals — almost all of whom had their roots in Scotland.

		Ireland Golf Ireland Section Ireland has a large percentage of the world's links courses. It is a golf-friendly country where the golf is reasonably priced, and the golf courses are outstanding.
